Heaters With Trailer

Here is our trailer with 4 of the heaters. The trailer contains the generators that power our commercial heaters. This ensures that we have enough power to get the heaters can create an air temperature that is high enough to kill the bed bugs and their eggs. This also means that we don't run up your electric bill when we perform our heat treatment.

Jeff At The Controls of the Heat Treatment for Bed Bugs

Here is Jeff at the command center of the bed bug heat treatment process. The temperature is measured at various locations in the house to make sure that everything reaches the target temperature. All of the heaters are monitored and controlled by a computer to make sure that the temperature rises at just the right speed in all of the locations. Adjustments are made to the temperature of individual heaters to allow for uniform heating to achieve the best control of the bed bugs.

Research Studies Show 122 Degrees F Kills All Life Stages of Bed Bugs

Research by several leading universities has shown effective control of all life stages of Bed Bugs at 122 degrees. When the temperature is between 120 degrees and 140 degrees the bed bugs will be killed within minutes. The trick is getting everything to that temperature, which requires slow and steady heating over a period of several hours. This allows the heat to penetrate into base boards, carpeting, matresses, etc.. where the bed bugs like to hide.
