A typical bed bug heat treatment can take 6 to 8 hours depending on the size of the area and the amount of things in the area. The heaters are strategically placed to provide the most uniform delivery of heat throughout all of the house. The temperature is slowly raised using a computer controlled system. By raising the temperature slowly the bed bugs become active but do not try to escape because they are naturally drawn to the warmer temperature.
